Our Adaptive Karate program is built on decades of experience working with individuals with diverse abilities. We take an inclusive, flexible approach to help each student find a suitable way to participate in martial arts.
Beyond karate, additional sports opportunities for individuals from NJ-DDD include archery, bowling, and cycling. Contact our team to learn more.
Our Adaptive Karate approach welcomes children, teens, and adults aged 21 and above with diverse physical, mobility, cognitive, visual, and hearing abilities.
For students interested in competition, specialized Para Kata training offers opportunities to pursue national and international competitions.
Every individual has different needs, and we're here to help families explore the right training approach for them.

There is no single approach that works for everyone. That's why we start by listening to families, understanding each individual's needs, and exploring the most suitable way to participate.
Depending on the student, this may include:
Integrated Classes: Joining regular classes alongside other students, with appropriate support and adjustments.
Private Lessons: Individual instruction tailored to the student's needs, abilities, and learning pace.
Dedicated Group Classes: A separate class may be considered when a group setting better supports the students' needs.
The next step is always determined through a conversation with the family.
At TKC Dojo, we bring decades of experience working with individuals with diverse abilities. We understand that every student has a different starting point, and every family has its own considerations.
Our goal is to listen, understand, and work together with families to find a suitable way for each student to experience karate.
